OUR SERVICES

Integra Engineering Ltd. is a full-service engineering, procurement, project management company providing services supporting upstream, midstream and downstream oil and gas projects.
Whether your company is unsure of a project’s scope or how to build towards the bigger picture, we can help you. Our services include complete project planning which involves determining and documenting a list of specific project goals, deliverables, features, tasks, deadlines, and even costs and returns on investments. Integra aims to provide a realistic view of each project, and because not every project needs a new facility, we consistently pay close attention to the optimization of existing facilities to ensure a quality and cost-effective product.
With emphasis on safety and protecting the environment, our facilities design philosophy focuses on minimizing capital expenditure and operating costs as well as maximizing reliability. The layout of equipment for future expansion, as well as the protection of people working at the facility, is thoroughly considered. We recognize operations personnel are tasked with an ever-increasing list of responsibilities, so our facilities are designed to be operated with minimal operator intervention. Along with that, we also consider expenditures, and we maximize the use of equipment, which is selected based on required performance and the costs of maintenance and downtime. To keep acquainted with new equipment and technologies, we make sure to regularly visit with vendors.
Integra has proven successful in ensuring our clients’ needs are addressed in a timely manner. Our clients work directly with our experienced Project Engineers who ensure that projects are not delayed as a result of procurement challenges. We provide tender preparation and tendering, bid evaluation, purchasing, and contract administration services.
Integra has expertise in managing projects of various sizes and ranging in complexity, and we are proud to have established a company based on successful relationships, amazing services, and safety. Ensuring that each Project Engineer holds an Applied Project Management Certificate of Achievement guarantees an even greater knowledge base that our clients can draw on. Our expertise includes project coordination, scheduling, budget preparation and management, procurement, progress reporting, field construction support, risk analysis and management, and commissioning and start up support.
With AutoCAD being the base software used, Integra's drafting department has the capability of working on and creating drawings in both 2D and 3D environments. Our expert team at Integra can create fully intelligent models of piping, structural, civil, equipment, and electrical components, which in turn allows us to generate isometrics, bill of material lists, valve lists, or any other custom list required for the project. We are greatly adept with a variety of software including, Microstation, CADWorx Plant Professional Suite, Navisworks, Recap, Raster Design and Print2CAD. Our attention to detail and proficiency in design is exceptional, and our aptitude and knowledge regarding the software we use does not go unnoticed by either our clients or project contractors.
Whether it is for a facility expansion or to update company documentation, Integra’s team has the field experience and knowledge to execute as-built drawings for existing facilities. Process and instrumentation diagrams are the most common drawing required to be as-built, but we have the capabilities to as-build piping, structural steel, equipment, and electrical drawings. No matter the scope of the project, from size to complexity, Integra can help.
Providing in-house design and development of control systems and control system support is essential to our clients in the maintenance and optimization of existing processes. Our Control System Specialists make recommendations to improve efficiencies and help identify new opportunities and solutions for projects that focus on a cost benefit analysis.
Our field-experienced electrical design team consists of both professional engineers and electrical engineering technologists. The team is unique as we have over 65 years of combined Journeyman Electrician field experience prior to obtaining their engineering discipline credentials.
The electrical group works alongside all other disciplines as part of Project Teams, through all project stages, from studies to detailed engineering.
Inadvertent permitting and licensing breaches can result in financial penalties, enforcement consequences, and potential to damage public reputation, and because of this, Integra realizes the importance of compliance. Our professionals have a thorough understanding of provincial and federal requirements, regulations, and guidelines. Because no one wants to see a project go awry, Integra’s team can provide your staff with the most accurate and timely compliance submissions.
No matter the facility, our team of engineers can deliver the expertise to assess everything from structural steel and piping systems to electrical and control systems to everything in between. Facility Condition Assessments (FCA) are a proven method to identify deficiencies in an existing facility’s process, equipment, and documentation requirements, and they can also identify gaps in the training of personnel working within facilities. These accurate and consistent assessments are kept completely confidential and can be completed for a single location or more comprehensively as part of a corporate program. Integra’s team is also able to identify process optimization strategies and regulatory compliance issues and is able to provide each client with comprehensive site plan reviews and technical evaluations. Our team can deliver anything from a high-level efficiency assessment to an actionable, detailed report complete with justifiable and cost-effective recommendations to issues that are identified. Our clients are then able to walk away with objectives and thorough answers that enable them to better understand the condition of their assets, enabling them to make “informed decisions” when assessing risks and/or in planning for the future.
Integra provides clients with a full-range of shop and field inspection services including:
Shop Fabrication Inspection and Expediting (pressure piping, vessels, tanks, and modules)
